Harrison Bergeron is  a story about equality, what perfect equality is, and if equality is good. Harrison Bergeron makes one rethink the past ideas about equality. When I first read this story, I thought that it would be an average story about the future where there if peace and everything is perfect, but Harrison Bergeron demonstrates the not so perfect version of the words peace and equality. This alone make the story captivating.
The way that Harrison Bergeron depicts the future makes much more believable. Also, this story had a climax that kept the readers on the edge of their seat because, of the tension in the rebellion. Lastly, the way that Harrison Bergeron's author resolves the climax is to abtupt in my opinion because, it leaves the reader hanging.
After reading this story I felt that the goal of the story was to make readers contemplate their morels instead of thinking about the story itself. Overall, Harrison Bergeron is a great  story that raises some complex questions.
